Lowther Castle & Gardens is a short walk from Lowther Holiday, on footpaths. Follow Earl Henrys Drive through the park, and woodland, cross the bridge and you enter the castle grounds and gardens. There’s a tea room, the ruined castle, and they often have many exhibitions and demonstrations as well as the famous Kendal Calling Festival each year.
