Chef De Partie – South Lakeland Leisure Village
Job Purpose
As a Chef de Partie, you will be supporting the culinary team in delivering consistently high-quality food, ensuring the highest standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities / Duties will include:
Preparing food
Ensure that all food is served at a safe and appropriate temperature using probes where necessary
Maintaining excellent standards
Assisting in the preparation and cooking
Assisting with menu changes
Cleaning down the kitchen at the end of service
Maintaining excellent standards of hygiene
Maintain sufficient stock levels of all food
To aid stocktaking in conjunction with the Head Chef
To undergo specific training as indicated by the Manager
Assisting the manager replenishing stock ensuring comply with stock rotation requirements
Take all reasonable steps to protect the health, safety and welfare of all employees, patrons and visitors, by promoting safe working practices
Ensuring that all faults and defects, equipment, tools, buildings, etc., within the remit of the bar and restaurant are reported to your line manager.
Education / Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
Have a passion for food, hospitality and be a team player
Previous experience working in a kitchen setting
Good communication skills
Be willing to learn
The Right to work in the UK
Have or willing to work towards Food and Safety & Food Hygiene certificate
A full UK Driving license and access to a vehicle is required due to the schedule and location of the park
Hours: 30 per week
Schedule: Split Shifts, working Wednesdays – Sundays
