Williamson Park – Ashton Memorial
Located in Lancaster just a 20 minute drive from the park, featuring the iconic Ashton Memorial.
Williamson Park is the home to the iconic Ashton Memorial and 54 acres of beautiful parkland with enchanting woodland walks, play areas and breathtaking views to the Fylde Coast, Morecambe Bay and the Lakeland fells.
Park attractions include a cafe and shop, Butterfly House (formerly a tropical palm house), and resident meerkats, marmosets, minibeasts and birds. While the grounds themselves are open year round it is worth checking opening times of the cafe and memorial before traveling.
