Morecambe Bay is a short drive from Cockerham Sands, with plenty of parking along the prom you can settle into a day at the beach very quickly. There are plenty of shops and restaurants along the front including the beautiful art deco Midland Hotel. From there you can take a stroll down the stone jetty on a clear day you can see over to the mountains and hills of the Lake District.

The walk along the prom is level and paved, perfect for the whole family. There are some fantastic events put on throughout the year including: The vintage festival, light up Morecambe, kite festival and often a fun fair. Make sure you get a snap with the Eric Morecambe statue on your way passed, a much loved photo opportunity for those who visit the area.
